How to save a Pinterest image or GIF
Use an individual public Pin link and choose the original image or animated GIF when available.
Copy an individual Pin link
Open the image or GIF Pin, choose Share, and copy its link. If you are on a board, open the specific Pin first.
Choose the original media
Paste the link into the downloader. Image Pins list the available image sizes, with the original first when Pinterest provides it. GIF Pins are listed as GIF files so the animation is preserved.
Find the saved file
The browser saves the image or GIF to its default download location. On phones, this is usually the browser’s download list or the Files app.
