Information we process

When you submit a Pin URL, the PinFetch server receives it and requests publicly accessible Pin data from Pinterest. PinFetch processes the returned metadata and media address to show available files and prepare your selected download.

If you email support, PinFetch receives your email address and the message you choose to send. Do not include passwords or private account credentials.

The hosting or network provider may separately process technical request data, such as IP address, browser information, and request time, according to its operational logging and retention settings.

How information is used

Pin URLs and returned media details are used to resolve a public Pin, show available files, and prepare the download you request. Support email details are used to reply to your message.

The downloader does not require a PinFetch account. The current application does not provide a saved-file library or a database of submitted Pin URLs and results.

Temporary files and retention

PinFetch streams the selected media from Pinterest to your browser without writing a persistent media copy to server storage. This describes PinFetch's application behavior; it does not determine how hosting providers retain technical logs.

Pinterest and other service providers

PinFetch sends requests to Pinterest and Pinterest's media delivery network to retrieve public Pin data and files. Pinterest handles those requests under its own privacy notices.

Hosting and network providers process information needed to deliver the website. If you email support, your email provider also handles that message. These providers have their own privacy terms and retention settings.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

When a GA4 Measurement ID is configured for this deployment, PinFetch uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, download-flow actions, and share interactions. Events may include page type, language, media type, result, a limited error category, file type, a broad video-quality category, and the share method. PinFetch does not send the submitted Pin URL, Pin ID, Pin title, uploader, media address, share text, or share recipient as event parameters.

Google Analytics may use analytics cookies or similar identifiers and process technical data under Google's own terms and privacy practices. PinFetch disables Google Signals and ad personalization in its tag configuration and does not add advertising tags.

Your choices and privacy requests

Only submit links to Pins you want PinFetch to process. Depending on your location and applicable privacy law, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of certain personal information. Contact support with a request; PinFetch may need to verify it and will respond as applicable law requires.

Changes to this policy

PinFetch may update this policy when the service or its data handling changes. The effective date above shows when this page was last revised.
